![]() will no longer even install on Windows XP or earlier. As to Windows: Windows 7 and later are supported. The included sources can be compiled on platforms for which we do not provide binaries. If you are still having trouble or you don't have TeXShop installed, it's possible Atlassian are working on a fix to handle more applications that cause issues with the Companion App's file association module. TeX Live contains binaries for many Unix-based platforms, including GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Cygwin. I used a program called OnyX to rebuild the Launch Services database. Quit TeXShop, move the Macros folder /Library/TeXShop/Macros to the desktop, and restart TeXShop. AT.03: There may be a damaged Macros folder in TeXShops configuration files. I also had to rebuild the Launch Services database because TexShop was still being returned in the application list by `lsregister -dump`, even after being uninstalled. Make sure you are using the latest version of TeXShop QT.03: TeXShop complains of a damaged Macros file when it starts. While it would be great for the Companion App to play nicely with this application, I uninstalled it because I haven't used it in several years. ![]() It would also cause a segmentation fault in the file-associations module being using by the Companion App. To complete the installation and launch Mathematica, click Finish. For some reason, this application was registered in Launch Services as a valid application for my image files. Wait for the installation process to complete. I had an application installed on my machine called TeXShop, which is a LaTeX editor. ![]() Ok! I have found the solution to the problem, thanks to one of the Atlassian support devs who was on a call with earler today. ![]()
